Boston Bruins backup goalie Jaroslav Halak pitched a shutout and Brad Marchand scored the only goal of the game as the B's beat Arizona 1-0 Saturday night.

The Bruins are 2-0 on their season opening roadtrip.

While the offense struggled vs the Coyotes, Halak stopped all 36 shots fired on him.

Tuukka Rask allowed just one goal in the season opener vs the Dallas Stars.

Marchand's goal late in the first period and after that the B's could not get anything past Coyotes goalie Darcy Kuemper. He finished with 26 saves.

The Bruins roadtrip continues Tuesday night in Las Vegas.
