The Boston Red Sox powered up and whacked a season-high six home runs in Friday night's 13-2 win in Baltimore. J.D. Martinez hit two of them.

Make it 11 home runs in the last two games for the Sox as they improve to 37-34.

The Sox pounded out 16 hits against three Orioles pitchers. Martinez and Rafael Devers had three each.

Meanwhile, Eduardo Rodriquez pitched seven innings of one-run ball, getting his 7th win of the season.

The Yankees lost Friday night and the Sox climb to with six games of first place.
