Jenny Dell Resigns From NESN

Jenny Dell, the former NESN Red Sox sideline reporter resigned her gig with the popular New England cable channel  yesterday. She had been with NESN since 2012 when she replaced the popular Heidi Watney.

Jenny Dell and Red Sox third baseman Will Middlebrooks announced their romantic relationship this past New Year's Eve, shortly after that NESN made the decision to take her from the sidelines of a ball field to behind an anchor's desk.  Apparently she does not have a new job to go to.

Yesterday Dell Tweeted, "After an incredible 2 years at @NESN, it’s time to say goodbye. Many thanks to the whole #NESN cast & crew. Appreciate the love & support!”

On the field, Dell was replaced this season by Gary Striewski.  From this point on we'll probably get to see Jenny Dell sitting in the stands cheering her man on, when he plays.
