Seattle's Wade LeBlanc and Edwin Diaz combined to pitch a a 1-0 two-hitter against the Red Sox Saturday night.

LeBlanc joined the Mariners rotation in early May and has been lights out. Last night he gave up a leadoff single to Mookie Betts and then promptly retired 22 straight batters.

Closer Edwin Diaz struck out the side in the 9th inning to get his 27th save.

Knuckleballer Steven Wright deserved better. He went seven innings, giving up one run on five hits.

The loss drops Boston to 48-24 with one more game in Seattle today. The Sox move on to Minnesota for the final stop on this long roadtrip.
