A $10,000 fine but no suspension for Boston Bruins winger Brad Marchand. That's the word from the NHL Player Safety Department after reviewing his 'dangerous tripping' play against Detroit's Niklas Kronwall.

It happened during Tuesday night's overtime win by the Bruins.

Marchand has been suspended three times in his NHL career.

The B's play Pittsburgh tonight in the final game before the all star break. Marchand and Tuukka Rask have been selected to play in the all star game in LA this weekend.
