Red Sox DH David Ortiz is one of 15 sluggers up for the Hank Aaron Award, given to the top offensive player in the league. Fan votes, plus a special panel of baseball people, chaired by Aaron will select the winner. Ortiz won the award back in 2005. Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera has won it the past two years.

Ortiz hit 35 home runs and drove in 104 runs while hitting .263.
