The New England Patriots seek their first win of the season as they play in Minnesota against the Vikings this afternoon.

The Pats will certainly benefit from the absence of Adrien Peterson but have a couple starters of their own starters who will not play. Linebacker Jamie Collins (thigh) and center Ryan Wendell (knee) are both out with injuries today.

Unlike last week in Miami, New England will need to play a more complete game against a defense that will be influenced by new head coach Mike Zimmer. Last season as the Bengals defensive coordinator, Zimmer held the Patriots to just 3 points in a blowout win.

Clearly the offensive line will be a focus this week as they try to provide better protection for Tom Brady, and find ways to make the running game more effective.
