Rick Porcello pitching and long ball offense got the Red Sox a 5-1 Friday night win in Texas.

The victory puts the Sox at 23-9 and keeps them one game in front of the Yankees in the AL East.

Porcello pitched six innings, giving up one run, three hits, a walk and striking out eight. He is now 5-0 with an ERA of 2.14.

The Sox offense slammed four solo home runs - Mookie Betts (13), J.D. Martinez (7), and Rafael Devers had two (6).
