Porcello Gives Up 2 More Home Runs [VIDEO]
The only park Mike Trout had never hit a home run in was Fenway Park. That changed Saturday when Rick Porcello offered up a gopher ball in the sixth inning. It was part of an Angels 12-4 beatdown of Boston.
Trout had gone 21 games at Fenway without a homer. It was his 39th home run this season.
After the two-run blast over the monster seats in leftfield, Sox manager Alex Cora came out with the hook to take out Porcello who had given up a three-run first inning blast to Justin Upton. In between, Porcello pitched well. The problem is he has given up 25 home runs this season.
The Sox bullpen was no help.
Darwinzon Hernandwz gave up four runs in one inning. Hector Velazquez gave up three in his one inning.
Manager Alex Cora talked about the pitching woes...
