For the second night in a row, the Red Sox jumped out to an early lead on the LA Angels. But this time, David Price and company could not hold that lead.

Leading 3-0 in the 3rd inning, Price gave up a two-run double to Albert Pujols and a two-run homer to Andrelton Simmons. The Sox never got the lead again.

Price finished his night working five innings, giving up six runs (five earned), seven hits and three walks.

But the Sox offense was no help either. Hitters managed just six hits all night.

The best news for the 55-44 Sox? The Yankees and Rays lost too.
