Red Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy updated his health status on Wednesday morning.

twitter page, Remy left Mass General Hospital on Monday and is now resting back at home.  In June it was revealed that the longtime Red Sox announcer had his cancer re-emerge and went in for surgery at the end of June.

The Red Sox and NESN acknowledged Remy leaving the booth last month with a video tribute and he also received a standing ovation at Fenway Park.

Remy is shooting to return to NESN broadcasts at some point shortly after the All-Star game.
