Sale Overpowers Twins [VIDEO]
The Red Sox offense got Chris Sale just enough runs and he did the rest - 6.1 innings of one run, nine strikeout pitching as the Sox beat the Minnesota Twins 4-1.
Sale wins his 10th game of the year and lowers his ERA to 2.77. Craig Kimbrel got his 21st save.
The Sox offense scored twice in the first inning and then two more in the 7th.
Mitch Moreland had two hits and two RBI, inclduing his third home run in three days.
At 42-34, the Sox remain tied for the lead in the AL East with the Yankees.
