Shocker From Indy: Luck Retires [VIDEO]
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck says constant injuries have taken the fun out of the game for him and that he's retiring. at age 30. The news came down after Saturday night's preseason game and just two weeks before the NFL season starts.
Luck has not played much in preseason because of an ankle injury.
Former Patriots QB Jacoby Brissett will take over the job.
Luck was the NFL #1 draft pick back in 2012. He was chosed to replace Peyton Manning as the face of the franchise.
He finishes with 2,000 completions, over 23,000 yards and 171 TDs.
NOTE: The Chicago Bears beat the Colts in the preseason game,27-17. The Colts open the NFL regular season at the LA Chargers...The Patriots do not play the Colts this year.
