Perhaps the Red Sox forgot to pack their bats for this first roadtrip after the All Star break. They got shut down by Mike Fiers and the Detroit Tigers 5-0 Saturday night. That's a total of one Sox run in two games.

Meanwhile, former Sox shortstop Jose Iglesias powered a home run and drove in four runs in the rare Tigers win.

The best thing that happened to the Sox was the catch by Mookie Betts, taking away a home run in rightfield (above).

The loss, combined with a Yankee win, means the Sox lead is back to 4.5 games over NY.

Chris Sale makes the start today at 1pm. The game is live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
