Xander Bogaerts ripped a three run home run and J.D. Martinez cranked a two run job as the Red Sox put away the Oakand A's 6-4 Wednesay night at Fenway.

The win ends a mini two game losing skid and keeps the A's from sweeping the series.

Chris Sale got the win, pitching the first five innings. He gave up just two runs on two hits. Sale struck out nine but did walk four.

Craig Kimbrel gave up a 9th inning run but got his 12th save.

The Sox are 29-14 and host Baltimore for four games starting tonight.
