When James Loney hit an 8th inning rbi single it not only was enough to beat the Boston Red Sox, it also ended their 3-game winning streak.With Boston leading 3-2 in the top of the 8th inning Asdrubal Cabrera hit a ground rule double to tie the game before James Loney came through with an rbi single to put the Rays in front and give them the 4-3 win.

Junichi Tazawa gave up the hits and runs to take the loss and drop to 2-4 and pick up his third blown save. It spoiled what was a pretty good start for Wade Miley who went the first 6.2 innings where he allowed just 5 hits and 2 runs.

Boston will take Monday off before starting an 8-game road trip with the first 3 in New York against the Yankees.
