The Boston Red Sox offense pounded out 13 runs, 16 hits, including three home runs, to win a laugher in Kansas City 13-2.

While all that was going on, lefty pitcher Wade Miley was pitching six shutout innings and picked up his 7th win.

Mookie Betts had three more hits - he was a single shy of hitting for the cycle again. Betts has raised his batting average to .277.

Brock Holt, Dustin Pedroia and Xander Bogaerts all had three hits. David Ortiz(10) and Hanley Ramirez(15) hit home runs.

The Sox take two out of three in KC. Monday is an off day followed by another series against the Baltimore Orioles.
