Justin Verlander of the Houston Astros pitched his third no-hitter of his career Sunday afternoon, beating the Toronto Blue Jays 2-0. He joins a very select group of pitchers to throw three or more no-no's.

That list is Nolan Ryan (7), Sandy Koufax (4), Cy Young, Bob Feller and Larry Corcoran (3) and now Verlander with three.

NOTES: Verlander struck out 14 and walked just one. In other words, he was just one batter away from a perfect game. Verlander threw 120 pitches, 79 were strikes. His record is 17-5 with a 2.56 ERA.
