As the deadline on the Celtics and Cavs 'deal or no deal' approaches, Isaiah Thomas speaks publicly for the first time since the trade announcement and he told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski 'I am not damaged. I'll be back and I'll be the same player."

The trade of IT, Jae Crowder, Ante Zicic and a #1 draft pick for Kyrie Irving was first announced last Tuesday. The issue is just how serious the Thomas hip injury is and the deal has been held up.

According to NBA rules, the deadline to report and submit to a physical for players involved in a trade is today at 10am. The deadline to pass a physical is 10am tomorrow.
