Allain, Bouchard Win PVC Soccer Player of Year

Hermon's Alex Allain and Houlton's Kolleen Bouchard are Player of the Year winners in Penobscot Valley Conference soccer. For Allain, it's back to back POY honors.

Allain had 19 goals during the regular season and finished her career with 105. The Hawks lost in the Class B regional final to Presque Isle.

Houlton's Bouchard wins Class C Player of the Year. She netted 36 goals and 10 assists for the Shiretowners. Her team plays in the state title game on Saturday.

The PVC Class D Player of the Year is sophomore Lexi Ireland from Penboscot Valley High School in Howland.

On the boys side, James Petersen from Hermon, Bryce Gilbert of PCHS and Luke Chandler from Bangor Christian are POYs.
