Benintendi’s First Hit With Seadogs [VIDEO]

After going hitless in his first Double-A game with the Portland Seadogs Monday night, highly touted prospect Andrew Benintendi got in the hit column twice last night.

Benintendi ripped a single, a double and drove in two runs. He also drew a walk in the Seadogs 5-3 over New Hampshire.

The Seadogs play one more game at Hadlock Field in Portland tonight before heading out on a seven game roadtrip.

Benintendi was promoted from the Sox Single-A team in Virginia after dominating that level of baseball.
