Buchholz Headed To DL?

Sox manager John Farrell has a lot to think about when it comes to his starting rotation. Lester struggling, Buchholz hurt, too many walks being issued, who pitches in day-night doubleheader Tuesday vs Tampa Bay.

The Sox now say Alfredo Aceves will be recalled from Pawtucket to pitch the afternoon game Tuesday. Felix Doubront will start the night game.

The Buchholz question still cannot be answered. He will try to throw a bullpen session Tuesday and if he cannot the team is ready to put him on the DL.

The Lester struggles appear to the biggest concern right now. Farrell thought he pitched better in the Baltimore game Sunday but Lester did give up five runs in five innings.

Good thing this is an off day for Farrell and company.
