The Boston Celtics won their 30th game of the season, beating Brooklyn 108-105, but it was anything but easy.

The C's had plenty of chances to put the Nets away and never could.

Kyrie Irving scored 28 points, including a couple of key free throws down the stretch.

Al Horford had a double-double, 10 points, 10 rebounds. Off the bench, Marcus Morris scored 15 and Terry Rozier had 14.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led the Nets with 22.

The Celtics become the first team to 30 wins (30-10). Next on the schedule, the Cleveland Cavs come to Boston Garden Wednesday night.

And the $64,000 question - will Isaiah Thomas play for Cleveland?
