The Boston Celtics selected 6-foot-6 guard Romeo Langford from the University of Indiana with their first pick in the NBA Draft (#14 overall).

He averaged 18.5 PPG, 5.4 RPG and 2.3 APG as a freshman for the Hoosiers but shot just 27% from the three-point line.

Some of the shooting woes came as a result of playing with a torn ligament in his right thumb and he had surgery after the season.
