The Boston Celtics met a tough test with the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Quicken Loans Arena on Thursday night and lost to the top team in the conference by a score of 124-118.

Boston trailed for much of the contest, including a 17 point deficit entering the fourth quarter.  The Cs rallied back and got the contest to within a point with a minute left on the clock before Lebron James and company iced the game with a six point victory.

Kyrie Irving led all scorers with 32 points, while Kevin Love chipped in with 30 and Lebron James also added 23 as well.  Isaiah thomas led the way for the Cs with 31 points and nine assists, while Avery Bradley had 23.

Next up for the Cs is a match-up back in Boston as the team welcomes the Miami Heat to the TD Garden tonight.  The Heat played on the road against the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday and lost by a score of 91-82.  Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
