Long-time Boston Bruins broadcaster Dave Goucher has landed a new job with the expansion NHL franchise in Las Vegas.

Goucher was the voice of the Boston Bruins on the radio since 2000 is the two-time Sportscaster of the Year in the state of Massachusetts (2013 & 2014).  Along with Bob Beers, he called the Bruins 2011 championship season and title win for CBS Radio.

"We are thrilled to have Dave, Shane and Dan [D'Uva] (Radio PBP) on board as our first-ever broadcasters," said Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz in a team release on Tuesday. "Each of them brings a wealth of hockey experience, and will be an integral part of making Golden Knights broadcasts enjoyable and insightful."

The Bruins have not named a new broadcaster to replace Goucher on the radio broadcasts as of yet, but Mike Thomas, Vice President of Sports for CBS Radio, tweeted out that they will begin their search.

The Boston Bruins will begin the 2017-18 season on October 5th versus Nashville.  You can hear the Bs all season long on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
