Friars Finish Weekend Sweep Of UMaine [VIDEO]
The Providence Friars kept taking two goal leads on UMaine Saturday night. The Black Bears kept making it a one goal game. But in the end, the Friars won 5-3.
The last goal was an empty netter.
Anthony Florentino had a hatrick for Providence, including the game winning goal. the Friars scored two powerplay goals.
For Maine, goals came from Blaine Byron, Brendan Robbins and Chase Pearson.
The Black Bears fall to 4-11-1 on Hockey East, 10-15-3 overall.
Providence has now won seven in a row, 8--6-2 and 16-8-4.
