The Maine Black Bears finished 8th in the final U.S. College Hockey Online Poll that was issued on April 14th.

The Maine Black Bears fell to Penn State 5-1, Friday night, in the NCAA Tourney held in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

They are 24-7-6, champions of Hockey East for the first time in 21 years, the #4 ranked team in the country and a No. 1 seed at the dance. So, regardless of what happens tonight, we should clearly be able to say this season has been nothing short of a success, right?

The NCAA Hockey Tournament started yesterday and it was a wild day, with the #2 team getting bounced and 2 games going into overtime, including one in double-overtime. Maine plays tonight at 8:30. Listen to the pregame starting at 8 p.m

The slights and bulletin board material for the Maine Hockey Team keep increasing. Just 3 days after winning the Hockey East Championship, the Maine Black Bears remain in 4th place in the March 24, US College Hockey Online Poll.

After winning the Hockey East Championship, beating UConn 5-2 on Friday, Maine is the #1 seed in the Allentown, Pennsylvania Bracket and will face Penn State Friday night, March 28th at 8:30 p.m.

The Maine Black Bears were welcomed back to Campus on Saturday afternoon, complete with a police and fire escort as they were greeted by throngs of fans lining the highway, roads and in front of the Alfond!

The Maine Black Bears won their 6th Hockey East Championship, and 1st since 2004, on Friday night, March 21st, beating UConn 5-2.

The Maine Hockey Team beat Northeastern Thursday night 4 to 3 in Double Overtime in the Hockey East Semifinals on Thursday night. The game took just over 91 minutes to play!
