New England Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski was named as the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week on Wednesday for his efforts versus the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday Night.

Gostkowski had three field goals in the contest from 47, 53, and 32 yards respectively and made both PATs as well in the game.  He was also credited for the game winning field goal that he hit in the fourth quarter with 3:44 left to go in the game.

It was the fourth time Gostkowski was named as the Player of the Week, the last time occurred in September of last season.

New England will return home on Sunday as they welcome the Miami Dolphins to Gillette Stadium.
