Maine Man Who Has Seen Every Super Bowl Says This Will Be His Last

Watching the NFL season finale in person is a bucket-list dream for countless football fans, and while most will never get that chance, these guys are different—they’ve been there for every single one.

Don Crisman of Kennebunk, Maine, along with Gregory Eaton of Michigan and Tom Henschel of Florida, are back for another big game this year.

While they’re back this year, two of the trio know that age and limited mobility could make this their final trip.

This year’s matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots is scheduled for Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

The Super Bowl rematch has Crisman — a Patriots fan since the franchise began — thrilled to see his team reach the game for a record 12th time. Telling the Associated Press that this trip would be his final one, Crisman shares the moment with his daughter, Susan Metevier.

Now 90, Crisman first met Henschel at the 1983 Super Bowl, while Henschel, 84, has been slowed by a stroke.

Both say this will be their final trip to the increasingly expensive game—though they’ve said that before—while Eaton, 86, plans to keep going as long as he’s physically able.
