It had to end sometime. The Boston Celtics win streak stops at 16 games after a 104-98 loss in Miami.

You the feeling that coach Brad Stevens is glad it's over.

'We're not as good as that 16 game win streak...but we do have great resolve,' Stevens told reporters after the loss.

He's talking about the C's falling behind again, by 18 points, and then coming back to win.

Only this time, it didn't happen.

It almost did.

A 13-0 run by the Celtics got them within a point at 91-90. But that was it. Miami stayed ahead and won.

Goran Dragic had 27 and Dion Waiters scored 26 to lead the Heat.

Kyrie Irving had 23 for the C's.

So, the Celtics drop to 16-3. They still have a three game lead in their division and still have the best record in the NBA.

Next is a home game vs Orlando Friday night.
