Calling it a 'great new chapter in my life and career', Giancarlo Stanton put on New York Yankees pinstripes at a press conference today. Let the MLB Winter Meetings begin.

Stanton would not waive his no-trade clause to go to the Cardinals or Giants so the Marlins turned to the Yankees.

The Yanks will pick up $265 million of his $295 million, 10-year contract. The Marlins get second baseman Starling Castro and two minor league players.

Stanton joins Aaron Judge as a one-two home run punch for the Yankees, who led the majors in homers without Stanton.

Now the question is - how will the Red Sox and other teams react to the New York move?
