Police Identify Victim of Fatal Crash in Veazie
State Police have released the name of a man killed in a single-car crash on I-95 Wednesday night.
Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland said in a press release that Kendall Gordon Jr., age 50 of Brewer, was killed when his vehicle left the road just after 11 o'clock Wednesday night. Trooper Trevor Snow says the crash took place at mile 189 in Veazie in the northbound lane.
Snow said Gordon's Mitsubishi left the road and traveled into the median, where it struck a tree, and overturned at least once, coming to rest on its wheels. He was thrown from the car and died at the scene. Police say speed was the likely cause of the crash.
