Rask, Bruins Remain Red Hot [VIDEO]
Another win for the Boston Bruins as they begin a new calendar year. A 5-1 victory vs the New York Islanders, making it 7-0-2 for the B's in their last nine games.
Tuukka Rask, who was named First Star in the NHL for December, made 25 saves. Patrice Bergeron scored the game winning goal in the second period.
Then the Bruins scored three times in the third period to put the game away.
The B's are 22-10-6. That puts them all alone in second place in their division with three games in hand vs third place Toronto.
