18 members of the 1967 Boston Red Sox 'Impossible Dream' returned to Fenway Park last night and got another chance to take a bow for what they did 50 years ago.

What they did was change the Boston Red Sox franchise - forever.

After so many losing seasons, the '67 Sox won the American League pennant in the tightest of races down the stretch. Back then, there were no divisions or playoff games. The team with the best record played in the World Series.

The Sox lost to Bob Gibson and the St. Louis Cardinals in seven games but most people agree the 'Impossible Dream' team turned around the fortunes of Boston baseball once and for all.

Among the players honored before the game, Carl Yastrzemski (MVP, Triple Crown winner) and Jim Lonborg (CY Young winner)...
