The Minnesota Twins and Chicago Cubs joined the MLB postseason party last night. The Twins winning the second AL Wildcard spot. The Cubs winning the NL Central Division.

For the Twins, a history making effort as they become the first team to lose 100 one year and make the playoffs the next.

They earned their playoff spot when the Angels lost their game.

The Twins meet either the Yankees or Red Sox in a one game winner-take-all game next Tuesday.

The Cubbies put together a strong second half of the season to win the NL Central. That's back-to-back division titles for the Cubs.

And with three straight playoff appearances, it's the first time the Cubs have done that since 1906 to 1908.

They play the Washington Nats in the the first round of the playoffs.
