UMaine Gets 4th Win, 98-92 Over Brown [VIDEO]
Heading into America East Conference play the UMaine men's basketball team has two straight wins. Saturday afternoon a 98-92 win over Brown from the Ivy League.
The win puts the Black Bears record at 4-9. The team won only three games all last season.
Today, the Bears guard combo of Kevin Little and Aaron Calixte were 9-for-15 from the three-point line. Little finished with 24 points, Calixte had 22.
As a team, Maine shot 54% on threes and overall almost 49% on field goals.
Tavon Blackmon had 20 points for Brown. Pro golfer Jordan Spieth's brother, Steven, had 17. Brown is now 4-9.
For Maine, it's on to AE play starting next Wednesday when the Bears host Vermont at the Cross Center in Bangor.
