When Patriots LB Kyle Van Noy was in Bangor for 'The Ticket Preseason Huddle Event' back in June he spoke about his Van Noy Valor Foundation that helps adopted and fostered kids and families. This week, he was honored with the Patriots 'Ron Burton Community Service Award' for his efforts.

Van Noy and his wife, Marissa, have been involved in many community events put on by the Patriots Foundation.

Pats owner Robert Kraft honors a player each year for their volunteer efforts as well as honoring the late Ron Burton, a former player who was the first player the Patriots drafted in the old AFL in 1960. Burton left a legacy of volunteering in community events.
