After almost a two year wait from the announcement of his signing with the UFC, former pro wrestler CM Punk entered the octagon against upstart middleweight Mickey Gall, who was making just his third pro fight.  Punk could not land even one punch before being taken to the ground and later submitted 2:14 into the fight.  The worst part, other than waiting for this fight for years, is that Punk reportedly signed a contract for well over one million dollars with the organization.  UFC President Dana White said that Saturday night was probably Punk's first and only fight for the promotion.  Maybe it's time to go back to wrestling where the grappler can at least guarantee a win once and awhile...

Deacon Art Terrill brought this calendar to our attention during the "Breakfast Club" on Friday morning.  The monthly calendar from Perfect Timing Inc. featuring stars from the Red Sox had a peculiar September player displayed that may have drawn some eyebrows for fans that purchased it.  Wade Miley, who was traded by Boston as part of a deal that sent Carson Smith to the Sox, is shown as the star for the big stretch of games this month of September.  To make matters worse, Miley will be opposing Boston to start the series opener for the Os.  Perfect Timing Inc. may have to adjust its name before the next publication...

So does the former wrestler turned UFC fighter or the unfortunate Red Sox calendar the more worthy candidate for Tool of the Week this time around.  Make your voice heard and tell us what you think!
