The Brewer high school hockey team dominated their match-up with the John Bapst Crusaders thanks to an explosive start on their way to an 8-3 win.

Brewer took the lead within the first 21 seconds of the game on a goal by defenseman Jake Caron.to help grab a 3-0 lead three minutes into the game.

Spencer Valley lead the charge with 3 goals and 4 assists while Gabe Valley added 2 goals and an assist.

Brewer improves to 9-3 and moves into the No.2 spot behind Messalonskee who they meet next Wednesday.
