From two goals down to a 4-2 win over the St. Louis Blues, the Boston Bruins take game one of the Stanley Cup Final Monday night at Boston Garden.

Coming off an 11 day layoff the B's got behind 1-0 after one period and then trailed 2-0 early in the second period.

But things turned in a hurry.

The Bruins outshoot the Blue 18-3 in that key second period and went on to outshoot them 38-20 for the night.

And how about the goal scorers for the B's - two defensemen lit the lamp, Connor Clifton and Charlie McAvoy. Fourth liner Sean Kuraly added another before top liner Brad Marchand added the empty netter.

Goalie Tuukka Rask made 18 saves and coach Bruce Cassidy admitted to some early game rust from his team.

NOTES: Game 2 is Wednesday night at Boston Garden...Since 1939 when the Stanley Cup Final went to a seven game series, the team that wins game one wins the series 77.2% of the time...Th B's have now won eight straight playoff games.
