The Boston Bruins had a rough start to their west coast trip with a 5-2 loss to Anaheim. It was the same story for the Boston Celtics who lost in Denver 129-98.The Ducks scored three goals in the second period and cruised to the win. Mathieu Perreault scored two goals to lead Anaheim who were also dominant on special teams with two powerplay goals and a shorthanded goal. Check out the recap below.

The Boston Celtics continue to struggle with their latest setback coming at the hands of Denver who posted the 31 point win. The Celtics have now lost five straight games and 10 of their last 13. Jeff Green led Boston in the loss with 17 points while Jerryd Bayless made his debut with team and scored 6 points in 25 minutes of play. Coach Brad Stevens addressed his teams effort following the game.
