The Boston Bruins have left no doubt who the coach is going to be for the next few years. GM Peter Chiarelli announced Sunday that Claude Julien and the team have agreed to a multi-year deal - reports say a three year extension.

This is Julien's 8th year behind the B's bench. He has led the team to seven straight years of playoffs, two Stanley Cup finals and one Stanley Cup title.

He record is 317-171-65. That's a 63% winning percentage.

Only Detroit's Mike Babcock has more tenure in the NHL coaching ranks with 10 years behind the Red Wings bench.

The Bruins are currently 7-6.

NOTE:  The Bruins host the Florida Panthers Tuesday night with former Bruins player Shawn Thornton making his return to the Garden. Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket has live coverage starting at 7pm.
