CC &Co Blank Sox 3-0 In Game 1

The Boston Red Sox offense is in a funk and it could not come at a worse time. C.C. Sabathia and the Yankees bullpen shut down the Sox 3-0 in game one of today's doubleheader.

Game two is tonight at 8pm and you can hear it live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.

In the afternoon game, the Sox offense managed just four hits. The were 0-for-11 with runners in scoring position and left 10 runners stranded. The Sox haven't scored since the third inning of Saturday's16-inning loss to the Yanks.

Rick Porcello was again a tough luck loser.
