The Boston Celtics scored their 50th win of the season Sunday afternoon and it wasn't all that hard. They waltzed past the hapless New York Knicks 110-94.

With five games left in the regular season, the Celts are 50-27 and in first place in the Eastern Conference.

It's the first team Boston has had 50 wins since the 2010-11 season.

At Madison Square Garden, Isaiah Thomas scored 19 points in just 24 minutes of gametime. The Knicks offered little in the way of effort.

Jaylen Brown 16, Marcus Smart and Al Horford each had 14.

Now the Celtics await Wednesday night when the Cleveland Cavs come to Boston Garden.
