Ellsworth’s Crawford A Fitzy Semi-Finalist

Ellsworth Eagles senior Connor Crawford has made the semi-final list for the 49th Fitzpatrick Trophy Award. The award is regarded as the top senior player in the state.

The list of 12 semi-finalists will be cut down to three and the finalists will be invited to the Fitzy Awards program in January.

Crawford and Garit Laliberte (Maranacook) become the first players on the Fitzy list from 8-man football teams.

Crawford rushed for 1,632 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also passed for 218 and four TDs. On defense, Crawford had 65 tackles, an interception and a sack.

He is ranked 12th academically in his class at Ellsworth.
