Ellsworth’s St. Peter Will Play For Husson

Ellsworth High School standout senior center Bruce St. Peter has committed to play his college basketball at Husson University next season.

St. Peter helped lead the Eagles to their first regional title in 28 years last month before losing to Lake Region in the state title game.

The 6-foot-5 center averaged 14.5 points, 10 rebounds a game while shooting 51% from the field.

St. Peter will represent the third generation of family members to be a part of Husson basketball. His mother, Jill, played at Husson for coach Kissy Walker. His grandfather is the former longtime men's coach at Husson, Bruce MacGregor.

The Eagles just completed a 21-7 season as NAC confernce champs and lost by two points in the first round of the NCAA's to #15 ranked Amherst.
