The Brewer Witches won their Saturday game vs Presque Isle 8-1. The Bangor Rams won their Friday night game 6-0 over Mt. Ararat. The stage is now set for the annual 'Fill The Alfond' game.

This year, it is the home game for Bangor and the booster club raises significant money from the special game played at UMaine's Alfond Arena. The two schools and their booster clubs take turns using the game as a home game.

The Rams will enter the 'Fill The Alfond' game at 3-0 in Class A. Senior goalie Derek Fournier and the Bangor defense are off to a great start, outscoring the opposition 17-1 in the three games. Fournier has a save percentage of .972 and .38 GAA.

Josh Sherwood and Kodi Legassie lead the Rams in scoring with four goals each through the first three games.

The Witches are off to a 2-0-1 start in Class B hockey. Brewer has outscored its opponents 13-4. 11 different players have at least a goal for coach Lance Ingerson's team.

Senior goalie Drew Baker has a 1.26 GAA and a .959 save percentage for Brewer.
