Final NAC Weekend Begins With A Sweep

The last weekend of of North Atlantic Conference play begins with a sweep for the Husson Eagles, 6-1 and 5-2, over New England College.

The two wins should guarantee the Eagles second place in the upcoming NAC tournament. Coach Jason Harvey's team is 14-8 NAC, 19-18 overall.

GAME 1:  Christian Corneil had a home run, Sam Huston went 3-for-3 and Julien Boone had two hits and two RBI to lead the offense. Robert Graff pitched 5.2 innings and scattered eight hits to get the win on the hill.

GAME 2: Ben Walls was the winning pitcher in this one. Ryan Rebar and Connor Maguire had two hits each.

The two teams will finish NAC play with a Sunday afternoon doubleheader.
