Joe Girardi will not be managing the New York Yankees, as the sides agreed to part ways according to ESPN.


Buster Olney of ESPN reported during the Division Series round that Girardi and the Yankees would be parting ways at the end of the season.  According to ESPN, the Yankees will now begin a search for a new manager and may consider internal options of Rob Thomson (bench coach) and Tony Pena (first base coach).

Along with the Yankees, Washington and Philadelphia are still looking to fill their managerial vacancies.
